Q: What is a self catering “flat”?
A: A flat is a British term for an apartment, with a kitchen and bathroom.
Q: Can I view the flats before I book?
A: Yes, you are welcome to see the flats before booking, however, if they are occupied then we will not be able to disturb our guests privacy. That’s why we have taken a lot of photos and a video of the apartments, as well as video testimonials of guests who have stayed in these flats, so you can have peace of mind knowing that you are making the right choice by booking a London apartment with us.
Q: Who stays in your apartments?
A: Everyone: from families and tourists, business travellers, couples and friends. Recently, we seem to be popular with Australians, French, South Africans, Italians, Spaniards, Americans, English and of course everyone is welcome! We are popular for short term holiday rentals and self catering London apartments. If you are “travelling around Europe” our apartments are perfect for you because of the central London location, and easy access to all the airports as well as being minutes away from the Eurostar terminal at St Pancras International station, which is very handy if you are going to, or coming from, Paris.
Q: I need a place to stay in London tonight?
A: If we are free on the date you want to rent, then you are welcome to stay in our short term London accommodation. However you must contact us as soon as possible, and we will do everything possible to accommodate you.
Q: Do your apartments look like the photos?
A: Yes, absolutely. We have recently fully renovated and decorated all our apartments. We always clean and carefully maintain all our London apartments throughout the year.
Q: What are the Check In and Check Out times?
A: Guests check in time is 2pm and check out time is 10am. (Unless agreed beforehand and subject to availability)
Q: When I arrive in London, how can I check-in?
A: You will need to come to the property address, your booking confirmation has the full address. Check in time is 2pm and one of our friendly staff will be waiting for you at the property, they will check you in and you will have a set of keys for the flat. (If you prefer we can arrange for a taxis to collect you directly from the airport).
Q: I’m arriving at the airport early in the morning or late at night, how can I check-in?
A: Our usual check-in time is from 2pm onwards. If the apartment is empty, you can check-in earlier or later. However, if the apartment is occupied by other guests, we need to allow time, for check-out and cleaning of the apartment.
Q: Is the apartment secure?
A: Our apartments are safe and secure we provide you with keys to open and lock the street door, also keys to lock your apartment door.
Q: I have never been to London before. Can you help me make the most of my time in London.
A: We are always happy to help you make your stay in London as enjoyable as possible. Q: Is smoking allowed?
A: No, Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. However you can always go outside and smoke.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: No, Pets are not allowed.

Q: Is there internet access?
A: YES we provide a FREE WI-FI Internet service
Q: Do you provide towels and bed linen?
A: Yes we do provide towels and bed linens for all our guests, everything you need to be comfortable is ready for you when you check in. Our aim is to provide you with hotel standard comfort and quality.
Q: Are the beds, mattresses and pillows comfortable?
A: All our beds and mattresses are superior quality and many of our guests regularly comment that our beds, mattresses and pillows are the most comfortable they have ever slept on. That’s because all the beds, mattresses, pillows and sheets in our apartments are all high quality and recently bought brand new. Quality linen and fluffy duvets are also supplied.
Q: What is the bed configuration? Can you arrange them as singles or super king size if required?
A: Only applicable to King's Cross Apartment - When booking simply let us know what bed arrangements you prefer and we will arrange it for you. Your choices are either a combination of: 4 Single beds or 2 Super King Size beds.
Q: Does the apartment have cutlery, plates and pans?
A: Yes, the kitchen is very well equipped; to cater towards family cooking.
Q: Is there a bath or shower in the bathroom?
A: There is a bath and shower in the bathroom, and we have fitted a new high efficiency condensing boiler in the apartment, which means constant hot water 24/7.
Q: How many TV sets are there in the apartment?
A: Some apartments have Plasma TV’s in each bedroom or at least there will be one big Plasma TV screen in the Living Room.
A selection of converters (and US voltage) are available for you to charge your mobile phone or other electrical equipment.

Q: Are your apartments child friendly?
A: Yes. Children are very welcome.

Q: Is the apartment and neighbourhood safe?
A: Yes, of course. All our apartments are in very safe neighbourhoods and most of our guests are families with young children so you will feel very safe and secure day and night all year round in our London apartments. We have many families from around the World that stay in our London apartments and our guests always tell us that they feel very safe and secure and that’s why we have many repeat bookings year after year.
Q: Where is the nearest Tube Station, Supermarket, Restaurants, Shops & Cash Machine (ATM)?
A: All our London apartments are only a 1, 2 or 5 minute walk to either the Tube Station, Supermarket, Restaurants, Shops & Cash Machine (ATM). All our London apartments are located in great areas and that is why they are all so popular.

Q: How do I get a quote for my intended stay?
A: Go to the top part or bottom part of the page, and click at the colour-coded chosen apartment. Each apartment has different prices.
Q: What’s included in the price?
A: Prices are inclusive all taxes, electricity, water and internet. No supplements, No VAT, No extra charges and No surprises!
Q: Are there any discounts available?
A: All repeat customers will receive an automatic 10% discount and then an additional 15% off any future bookings!
Q: What’s the minimum stay?
A: Depends on the apartment- please check each apartment's minimum stay requirement.
Q: How much is the booking deposit?
A: A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking and the full amount is due 12 weeks before your arrival date.
Q: How can I pay the booking deposit?
A: Go to the 'Booking' page and follow the links. Payments can be made by credit/debit card over the phone or by email or you can also pay through PayPal.
Q: I have to leave London earlier than expected. Will you return some money to me?
A: If guests are leaving the accommodation earlier than expected then there is no refund, because we would have rejected other bookings.
Q: I have to cancel my visit to London, will I get my booking deposit back?
A: If you wish to cancel your booking we will do our best to re-let the apartment. If we can do this then your money will be refunded. If it's not possible to re-let the apartment then no refund will be given. We recommended that you take out cancellation insurance. |
