Q: What is a self catering “flat”?
A: A flat is a British term for an apartment, with a kitchen and bathroom.
Q: Can I view the flat before I book?
A: Yes, you are welcome to see the flat or rooms before booking, however, if it is occupied then we will not be able to disturb our customer's privacy.
Q: Who stays in your flats?
A: Everyone: from families and tourists, business travellers, couple and friends. Recently, we seem to be popular with Americans, Canadians, Australians, Italians, French, Spaniards and of course everyone is welcome! Our flat is popular with tourists for short rental “doing Europe” because of its central location, and easy access to the airports as well as being one minute away from the Eurostar terminal, which is very handy if you are going to, or coming from, Paris.
Q: I need a place to stay in London tonight?
A: If we are free on the date you want to rent, then you are welcome to stay short term. However you must contact us as soon as possible, and we will do everything possible to accommodate you.
Q: Do your flats look like the pictures?
A: Yes, absolutely. We have recently fully renovated and decorated the flat. Our flat is always clean and carefully maintained throughout the year.
Q: What are the Check In and Check Out times?
A: Guests check in time is 2pm and check out time is 10am. (Unless agreed beforehand and subject to availability)
Q: When I arrive in London, how can I check-in?
A: You will need to come to the property address, your booking confirmation has the full address. Check in time is 2pm and one of our friendly staff will be waiting for you at the property, they will check you in and you will have a set of keys for the flat. (If you prefer we can arrange for a taxis to collect you directly from the airport).
Q: I’m arriving at the airport early in the morning or late at night, how can I check-in?
A: Our usual check-in time is 2pm. If the flat is empty, you can check-in earlier or later. However, if the flat is occupied by other guests, we need to allow time, for check-out and cleaning of the flat.
Q: Is the room/flat secure?
A: Our property is secured with keys to open and lock the street door, also keys to lock the flat door and keys to lock the door to your room(s) in the apartment.
Q: I have never been to London before. Can you help me make the most of my time in London.
A: We are always happy to help you make your stay with us in London as enjoyable as possible. Q: Is smoking allowed?
A: No, Smoking is not allowed inside the flat. However you can always go outside and smoke.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: No, Pets are not allowed.

Q: Is there internet access?
A: We provide a FREE WI-FI Internet service
Q: Do you provide towels and bed linen?
A: Our aim is to provide you with hotel standard comfort and quality. Comfortable towels and bed linens are also provided for your convenience. On arrival everything is ready for you.
Q: Are the beds comfortable?
A: All our beds and mattresses are superior quality (bought recently in 2009). Quality linen and fluffy duvets are supplied.
Q: What is the bed configuration? Can you arrange them as singles or super king size if required?
A: When booking let us know what you prefer and we will arrange it for you. Your choices are: 4 Single beds or 2 Super King Size beds for the whole flat
Q: Does the flat have cutlery, plates and pans?
A: Yes, the kitchen is very well equipped; to cater towards family cooking.
Q: Is there a bath or shower in the bathroom?
A: There is a bath and shower in the bathroom, and we have fitted a new high efficiency condensing boiler in the flat, which means constant hot water!
Q: How many TV sets are there in the flat?
A: 2 widescreen 22” Plasma screen
A selection of converters (and US voltage) are available for you to charge your mobile phone or other electrical equipment.

Q: Are your flats child friendly?
A: Yes. Children are very welcome.
LOCATION
Q: Is it safe?
A: Yes, of course! It’s a very safe area day and night staying in our flat; this is a safe neighbourhood. We have lived here for the last 11 years and it’s one of the safest areas of London.
Q: Where is the nearest Cash Machine (ATM), supermarket
A: Cash machine: Less than 1 minute & Supermarket: Sainsbury’s is less than 5 minutes away

Q: How do I get a quote for my intended stay?
A: Go to the ’Prices’ page on this website.
Q: What’s included in the price?
A: Prices are all inclusive, this means all taxes, electricity, water, internet and the final clean after your departure. No supplements or VAT, no surprises!
Q: Are there any discounts available?
A: All repeat customers will receive an automatic 10% discount and then an additional 15% off any future bookings!
Q: What’s the minimum stay?
A: Two nights.
Q: How much is the booking deposit?
A: The deposit is 25% of your total stay, which will act as a guarantee to secure your booking.
Q: How can I pay the booking deposit?
A: Go to the 'Booking' page and follow the links. Payments can be made by credit/debit card over the phone or you can also pay through PayPal.
Q: I have to cancel my visit to London, will I get my booking deposit back?
A: If the booking is cancelled or not taken up then it is non-refundable, because we would have rejected other bookings.
Q: I have to leave London earlier than expected. Will you return my rent payment for these days?
A: If customers are leaving the accommodation earlier then all rent payments are non-refundable, this is due to
the fact that we would have rejected other bookings. |
